The Knoxville Public Library will be holding an event Thursday titled, “Meet Your Neighbor from Ukraine.”

Special guest speaker Iryna Cherniak will be discussing living in Ukraine prior to moving to Knoxville. The program at the library is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Iryna will be bringing some items from Ukraine and some food from the country for the event, according to Heather Libby, Adult Services Librarian.There will be snacks provided at the event.

The library will close Friday, at 4 p.m. for a staff meeting.
