The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. The board renewed alcohol licenses for Slideways Karting Center and Wackos. The board made appointments for Pella Board of Adjustments (Vince Nossaman), Pella Planning and Zoning (Teri Vos and Marc Vande Noord) and Marion County Planning and Zoning (Joe Cunningham).

A resolution for transfer from Local Option Sales fund to debt service for interest payment on the Law Enforcement Center construction was approved. Also a resolution for the Iowa DOT agreement for Highway 92 sideroads was approved.

There was a public hearing on approval of the proposed Adkins Urban Renewal Plan in Pleasantville. Discussion also took place on the Department 92 Project Funding and bonding disclosure. 

There was a discussion on Origin Homes, Iowa Economic Development where they will be building five of the 34 homes in the Veterans Administration District. The board authorized an amended 28E agreement with the city of Knoxville.

The board held an annual review for Zoning Director Missy Poffenbarger and Facilities Director Chris Nesteby. Both were commended for their work.
