Edging #12 Des Moines Christian by five strokes, the Class 2A #2 ranked PCM boys golf team won the Panorama Sectional Tuesday with a team score of 335 and advanced to the District Meet.

Easton and Grant Van Veen spearheaded the Mustangs first-place effort by shooting an 81 and an 82 respectively. Charlie Ford wasn’t far behind Easton and Grant on the day, posting an 83 at Lake Panorama Golf Course. Nick Farver recorded an 89 Tuesday, while Jeffrey McDanel shot a 90 and Tate Tangeman rounded out PCM’s scoring in the meet with a 97.

The Mustangs advance to the District Meet hosted by Kuemper Catholic at Carroll Country Club on Monday at 10:00 a.m.
