The Indianola High School Spring Musical The Addams Family was awarded multiple honors by the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards as announced earlier this week. The awards included:

Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role – Emma Brown as “Alice Beineke”
Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role – Mikey Crabb as “Gomez Addams”
Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role – Nadia Gioffredi as “Wednesday Addams”
Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role – Norah Leuwerke as “Morticia Addams”
Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role – Brady Meyers as “Lucas Beineke”
Special Recognition for Performance in a Principal Role – Jacob Butz as “Mal Beineke”

Brady Meyers, Emma Brown, Mikey Crabb, Nadia Gioffredi, and Norah Leuwerke who qualified to participate in the Triple Threat program.

The Triple Threat Award track is intended to provide all participating students with high-caliber learning and performance opportunities. Students will have the chance to receive individual coaching on a solo, work with a New York City-based choreographer and music director, and the opportunity to collaborate with other high-achieving students from other schools on a medley that will be performed at the Des Moines Civic Center as part of the 2023 Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards Showcase.
