American Home Findings Association (AHFA) has a couple of meetings coming up that they need families to sign up for. Exact times for the events have yet to be set but are expected to be held either the end of May or first part of June.

The first meeting will be for Two Family Engagements. Katy Gottschalk, Maternal Health Director for AHFA, tells KNIA/KRLS News, they are needing participants for. She said, “What the participants will do is kind of review some of our materials and discuss our programs, and really we just want feedback.”

It can be anybody who has received services through AHFA in the past. The Maternal Health Family Engagement Meeting will be held via Zoom. There will be two of those meetings. For those who attend both meetings they will get a $100 gift card.

Gottschalk added there will be a Child Health Two Family Engagement Meeting that will be held in Ottumwa. AHFA is looking for volunteers for that meeting as well, but again the date hasn’t been set yet. There is an incentive for those Two Family Engagement Meetings as well.
