The transition from spring to summer sports will be evident Monday at PCM, as two spring sports teams compete in postseason action and the first summer sporting event is scheduled to take place.
After winning their Class 2A Sectional Meet at Lake Panorama National Golf Course, the PCM boys golf team will compete for a spot at State in the District Meet at Carroll Country Club. The Mustangs boys golfers will compete against South Central Calhoun, Des Moines Christian, Van Meter, Treynor, and the hosts Kuemper Catholic. Meanwhile the PCM boys soccer team travels to James Cownie Soccer Complex in Des Moines for their Class 1A Substate 7 first round game against Grand View Christian. And kicking off the transition from spring to summer sports, the Mustangs baseball team kicks off 2023 season with a single-game on the road at Pella.
The PCM boys golf team begins Monday’s action with the District Meet at 10 a.m. The Mustangs boys soccer team’s first-round substate game starts at 5 p.m., while the baseball squad’s season opener is scheduled for 7 p.m.
