Melcher-Dallas Athlete Logan Godfrey has decided to further his football career at Cornell College. Godfrey was the undisputed leader for the Saints Football Squad last fall racking up 1,260 yards rushing with 19 touchdowns, he caught 22 passes for 308 yards and a touchdown, and played quarterback at times going 10/41 for 227 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Godfrey helped lead the Saints to a 3-6 record. Godfrey will participate in this week’s State Track and Field Meet as he has qualified in both the high jump and long jump. Cornell is an NCAA Division three school and a member of the Midwest Conference.
