The Pella Christian baseball team begins their 2023 campaign tonight, as they travel to Sigourney tonight for the season opener.

While tonight is the first time the Eagles take the field for the summer, it will be the Savages second game this week. Sigourney used a five-run sixth inning and a four-run eighth inning to start the year with an 11-7 extra inning win over Wilton Tuesday night. In addition to tonight being Pella Christian’s season opener, it also is the first time the two teams have met since 2015. The Eagles won that matchup eight years ago 9-5.

First pitch for the Pella Christian baseball team at Sigourney High School is scheduled for 6 p.m.
