Pleasantville High School graduation ceremonies are set for Sunday at the high school gymnasium.
There are 54 seniors who will pick-up their diplomas on Sunday. There are three student speakers, Emma Danks, Trevor Nickel and Jonah Schumacher.
The class motto is, “Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway,” John Wayne. The class colors are orange, black and silver, and the class flower is a white rose tipped in orange. The band will play, “Paint it Black.” The chorus will sing, “Babba Yetu.”
Pleasantville High School Secretary Tammi Brown tells KNIA/KRLS News when the doors open and about seating, “I believe Mr. Friday tries to open those doors by 1 p.m. with graduation at 2 p.m. We really don’t have reserved seating. We have floor seating and the bleachers will be available, but it’s first come first served.”
Graduation will start at 2 p.m. Sunday in the gymnasium.
