The Pella School Board approved a contract for a proposed connector between Jefferson Intermediate and Pella Middle School at their meeting Monday. The board received bids for the estimated $16 million project approved as part of the November 2021 bond issue. Construction on the expansion and renovation is set to begin in June and continue through December 2024. The board also approved registration fees for 2023-24 with some changes, proposed renovations to the Pella High School Library, renewal of vendor contracts, and a contract with Perspective Consulting for insurance plans in the district.
