A Pella High School graduate received a top honor from Harvard Law School. Alex Ropes is the recipient of the third annual Kristin P. Muniz Memorial Award. Ropes is recognized for his commitment to justice and superb client-centered representation at the Criminal Justice Institute. This annual award honors the late Kristin P. Muniz, a former Harvard Law School senior clinical instructor, who died in 2020. Ropes, a 2012 Pella graduate, was an All-State speech selection and a member of the 2011 state cross country champions. Read more about his recognition here.
