This month, Triumph Martial Arts was honored at an event sponsored by the Des Moines Radio Group, receiving the 2023 People’s Choice Award for Best Martial Arts Studio.

“It’s quite an honor to receive this award,” says Chris White, Co-owner and Director of Women’s Programs at Triumph Martial Arts. “Matt and I have dedicated the past two decades to bringing high quality martial arts instruction to the communities we serve. Our Clive location has been open for six years, but we first started teaching martial arts in the Des Moines Metro in 2014. There are quite a few very well-established martial arts schools throughout Des Moines, so to be voted the best is really humbling.”

This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the support of our amazing members.”

Triumph Martial Arts offers martial arts training for all ages, including ATA Taekwondo, Carlos Machado Jiu-Jitsu, and KMF-AC Krav Maga (self-defense) programs for families in Marion, Mahaska, Polk, and Jasper counties. Triumph is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year.
