Work continues on the City of Indianola Parks Master Plan, a document that will help outline needs, locations, and upgrades for current and future parks within the city. Parks and Recreation Director Doug Bylund tells KNIA News public input is a high priority during the making of this document.
“We are trying to see what people are looking for, what our residents are looking for. Whether it is new features, or they really like what their favorite park does, what they would like to see in their favorite park or their neighborhood park. Do people like a big gigantic 200-acre park, or a small little 1-acre park? So we are trying to find those answers as best as we can.”
