A fundraiser to help send a local balloonist to a competition is coming next week, as West Hill Brewery is hosting a trivia night to send Cherry Bomb and pilot Holly Pfeiffer to Australia. Pfeifer is raising funds to compete in the 5th FAI (Federation Aeronautique Internationale) Women’s Worlds Hot Air Balloon Championship in September of this year that will take place in Northam, Australia. Trivia teams of six can register to participate, with all proceeds going towards raising $25,000 to help send the balloon team to the Worlds competition. The fundraiser is June 10th.
