The Marion County Extension Office will be offering a Jam Workshop which is offered to youth fourth grade and up.
The students get to attend the workshop and learn safe methods for making jam. Youth Coordinator with the 4-H Extension Office, Ashtin Wells tells KNiA/KRLS News, “It is only $5 to register for that and that means you get to make jam and take it home.”
The event will be held June 10th at the extension office in Knoxville from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. To register go to 4-H online under the events tab. There is limited space, only enough room for 10 people.
Wells said the jam session also makes for a good project for the county fair.
