Several area high school soccer players have one last chance to represent their school. In cooperation with the Des Moines Menace, the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association presents the 2023 IAHSSCA Senior Showcase this Saturday at Valley Stadium in Des Moines. Players are nominated and selected by IAHSSCA-member coaches and coaches are selected by their peers. The following area athletes will compete:

Logan Solomon, Pella
Mia Warner, Pella
Joslyn Terpstra, Pella Christian
Luka Dejong, Knoxville
Hanna Linsley, Knoxville

Mark Howard of Pella will also coach the Girls’ East Squad.

Participants take part in a practice, enjoy lunch before the game, and receive a commemorative jersey, and admission to the Des Moines Menace. The senior showcase games start with the girls at 2 p.m., followed by the boys at 4 p.m.
