West Pleasant Street in Knoxville was reopened to the public on Tuesday, after the street was closed in order to construct necessary infrastructure upgrades and make connections to the new Veterans District development.
Knoxville City Manager Heather Ussery tells KNIA/KRLS News, the road reopened Tuesday.
The full street closure was at the intersection of West Pleasant Street and North Park Lane Drive. In order to complete the necessary work, the time frame for the street closure was originally set for 2-3 weeks, weather permitting.
