Pella Regional Health Center has welcomed Board Certified foot and ankle surgeon Jill Frerichs to the medical staff.

Dr. Frerichs has 19 years of experience, specializing in foot surgery, reconstructive surgery of the rear foot and ankle, ankle arthroscopy, and foot and ankle injuries.

“My passion is focused on patient care,” said Dr. Frerichs. “I believe that clear communication and education as well as tailoring the treatment to the patient’s lifestyle, optimizes their treatment.”

Dr. Frerichs earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University – Osteopathic Medical Center College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery (CPMS) and completed her Podiatric Surgical Residency at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She is board certified in Foot, Rearfoot and Ankle surgery and a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Previously, Dr. Frerichs worked with Capital Orthopedics in Clive, Iowa with an outreach clinic at Pella Regional Health Center.

She will practice in the Pella Regional Medical Clinic located at 405 Monroe St., Pella and Pella Regional Medical Clinic – Prairie City, 404 East Second Street Prairie City.
