Bank Officer Jim Baker, who will be working in the Knoxville office tells KNIA/KRLS News, “So, we’ll be coming to the Knoxville location and we’ll be able to have an opportunity to continue to grow that. It’s something that I’m looking forward to. I’ve lived in Knoxville most of my life. I’m a resident of Knoxville now with my family, I have two daughters in the school system. Like Steve (Fopma) said just a lot of positive things going on in Knoxville. It’s my home town, it’s something that’s very near and dear to my heart and now I’ll have the opportunity to work with those people and help Knoxville grow.”
Baker is an active participant in the community, serving on the Marion County Fair Board, and is a member of Thrive Knoxville, Knoxville Noon Kiwanis, and the Knoxville Booster Club.
The Knoxville branch will offer a full range of deposit and loan products, an ATM, and a night drop. Drive-up services are planned for a future facility to be constructed at a permanent location on Lincoln Street on the old Raceway Tire location.
