The Knoxville Area Ministers Association and EveryStep Hospice are sponsoring a fifteen minute Flag Day ceremony today at 12:15 pm at the Courthouse gazebo. 

Brent Hanna with the Knoxville Area Ministers Association tells KNIA/KRLS News the special day will include, “the pledge of allegiance and retirement of colors and also a historical perspective on Flag Day.”

The American Legion and VFW will present the colors. According to Hanna it will be a very brief program that will be roughly 15 minutes in length. The public is invited to the event.
