The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday.
The Board sold the former administration building and the entire lot to John G. Pierschbacher and Jodi R. Pierschbacher. The building sold for $380,000. There were no objections to the sale but there was concern from one person on the loss of gymnasium space.
Haili McKeever, the Knoxville School Nurse outlined the school year telling the board there were a total of 18,830 visits by students to see the nurse in the elementary schools, middle school and high school combined.
The board discussed the instructional support program to purchase instructional material, which was approved.
Also on the agenda was the purchase of an eight person Chevy Traverse from DeYarman Automotive of Knoxville.
The board also discussed the relocation of fiber for the old middle school which when put into place will shut down Lincoln Street for three to four days.
There were some contract modifications, new hires and resignations among other items.
