The Elks Lodge in Indianola held a Flag Day celebration Wednesday, honoring the history of the United States flag in a tradition that goes back over 100 years. Dozens of attendees included members of the Indianola Police and Fire Departments, city officials, and Elks Lodge members, and the ceremony included the singing of the National Anthem, God Bless America, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a review of the history of the flag.
