The Twin Cedars diamond squads were on their separate ways on Thursday with the softball squad winning 9-1 at Orient-Macksburg white the baseball squad was shut out 7-0. Jillian French threw a no-hitter as she started out rocky, hitting two batters and walking three in the 1st inning, but faced the minimum the rest of the way striking out 14. Rylee Dunkin went 4/5 with a double, triple, and RBI and two more stolen bases, Kisha Reed was 3/3 with three RBI, French helped herself out with driving two in. On the baseball field, the Sabers stepped up in class and fell to Chariton 7-0. The Chargers scored all seven runs in the first two innings and no hit the Sabers. Kasey Clark took the loss, going six innings walking six and striking out two. Twin Cedars will host Moravia tonight.
