Now that the World of Outlaws have moved on to another track, the Knoxville Raceway is back to a weekly show tonight. While the Pro Sprints and 360s will run their usual program, it is another big weekend for the 410s. Jackson Motorplex, Knoxville Raceway, and Husets Speedway have joined together to have three days of racing at the three tracks. Last night Mark Dobmeier won at Jackson to get the weekend started and bagged $10,000. That prize will be on the table for tonight’s action at the Knoxville Raceway. Husets Speedway and Jackson Motorplex General Manager Doug Johnson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports this weekend sprint car fans will get to see sprint car racing at three tracks that are within driving distance of each other.
Johnson: “Fans will get to see great racing at all three tracks, Jackson on Friday, Knoxville on Saturday and Husets on Sunday. We would like to do this more than just once next year, and I think all of the promoters and race directors are on board,.”
Listen for all the action with Live Trackside at 5:00 and Race Nights Live at 7:00 on the DeYarman Automotive Radio Racing Network on KNIA.
