The Marion County Extension Office will be offering a program called Books for Cooks.

The class is for students in grades kindergarten through third grade. The children will participate in hands-on cooking. They will learn about kitchen safety and about where food comes from and how to prepare certain dishes.

The event will be held June 27 at the extension office in Knoxville. The cost of the camp is $10 dollars and registration is due one week prior to the event.
