The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday. The board approved appointments to various city boards and commissions, employee classifications, and the sale of property located at 701 W Boston Ave. The council also approved ordinance changes regarding property tax collection on the Hillcrest/Downtown Unified Urban Renewal Area before going into closed session to discuss litigation, the purchase or sale of real estate, and conduct employee reviews. Before the regular session, the council met in a study session to discuss risk renewals for FY2024, the city ordinance regarding dangerous or vicious animals, and Indianola Bike Night.
