The Pella School Board held the first of two summer meetings on Monday. On the agenda was an amendment to a contract with DCI Group for management of the football stadium project, district insurance renewal with EMC Insurance, a nursing services contract with UnityPoint, and several changes to the supplemental salary schedule and handbooks at all buildings, as well as the district’s philosophy for activities. Several policy changes were considered alongside the handbook updates. All of the above items were approved.

A work session was also held to discuss human resource and employee information with Ahlers Law Firm.
