The class 1A #15 Twin Cedars Softball Squad saw its seven game winning streak end at the hands of class 2A #5 Van Meter on Monday 5-2. The game was competitive throughout with both teams scoring one run in the 1st inning, but Van Meter would build a 3-1 lead by the 6th inning and put the game away with two more in the 6th. Jillian French took the loss striking out five and walking three. On the offensive end, Rylee Dunkin was 3/3 with two runs scored and a stolen base. The Sabers head to Seymour tonight.
