The Knoxville Hospital & Clinics (KHC) Foundation hosted their annual Golf Classic at Pine Knolls Golf Club in Knoxville last week.

On Friday, June 16th, 60 golfers participated in the four-person best ball event that is a collaboration of local businesses, hospital business partners, and individuals who support the event through sponsorships and participation in the tournament.

The event sponsors this year included Capital Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, DeYarman Automotive-Knoxville, Edge Companies, Eide Bailly, Finway Group, Gradient9 Studios, Invision, Iowa Specialty Surgeons, Knoxville Nuclear Medicine, Leighton State Bank, Marion County Bank, McKay Group, Two Rivers Cooperative, and Weiler.

The proceeds from the golf classic will help support projects at the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics, including the expansion of the Don & Margaret Long Infusion Center, the Weiler Foundation Specialty Clinic, and the renovation of the Emergency and Surgery Departments.
