Ten combined errors did in the Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad on Friday as the Saints fell to Orient-Macksburg in a double header 10-1 and 15-3. In game one the Saints were held to just three hits, one each by Hayden Branson, Jenna Mickey and Summer Karpan. The Saints did take An early lead but gave up that lead when the Bulldogs plated six runs in the 2nd inning. Lotty Nolte took the loss striking out four. In the nightcap the Saints were held to two hits, one each by Mickey and Kasyn Reed. Emma Clark took the loss going three innings, striking out three. The Saints will host the annual Coal Miners Invitational today bringing in Montezuma, West Central Valley, and Seymour.
