Monday is Senior Night in Norwalk as the Warrior summer sports teams open another busy week on the diamonds, hosting Grinnell in Little Hawkeye Conference action. The varsity softball game will start at approximately 7:15 p.m. and baseball’s first pitch is set for 7:30.

The Class 4A fifth-ranked Norwalk softball team enters the week with a 21-6 overall record and a 14-3 mark in conference play, tied with Dallas Center-Grimes for first place. The Warriors will recognize their two seniors in Kaylee Cary and Zadie Wadle.

The Norwalk baseball team looks to avenge a pair of one-run losses at Grinnell when they host the Tigers. The Warriors are 7-19 overall and 5-12 in conference play. This year’s senior team members are Gabe Johnson, Jackson Campbell, Aidan Kane, DJ Harris, Ashton Stream and Ian Fisher.
