The second organization chosen for a quarterly donation by 100+ Men Red Rock received a check to support ongoing renovations. The Pella Community Food Shelf is getting $4,850 from the non-profit group supporting charitable causes across the Red Rock Area.
Director of the Pella Food Shelf Melissa Zula is thankful for the generosity of 100+ Men and so many others as they have transitioned to their new space on West 16th Street in Pella at the former Sports Page restaurant. She believes the facility will be fully open to guests sometime in July, and they are currently serving drive-thru style in the meantime. The non-profit is seeking food donations as many of their shelves are empty due to increased demand and the move from their previous location. Find out how to help here.
Tony Briggs and Dave Van Gorp with 100+ Men both say the growth of their organization over the past few years has allowed them to donate to two different groups locally every three months, and earlier in June, they presented Stepping Stones in Knoxville with $10,000. Moving forward, if donations to the group allow, 100+ Men will select two causes to give to quarterly. Learn more about their organization here.
