The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.
They continued discussion about the Pella Recreation Center at the meeting and tabled action for repairs at Knoxville Memorial Hall. The board approved a fireworks permit application for Crystal Lake Association on July 3rd and approved a motion to allow county departments to appropriate 90% of maximum funding outside of salaries and operating costs. Any spending above 90% would need to come back before the Board of Supervisors.
The board also approved allocation of the Local Option Sales and Service Tax and General Funds for the Junction 92 Project, reappointments for the Marion County Development Commission, and a resolution for an affidavit regarding the archaeological resources covenant of the VA Property.
