The National Balloon Classic returns to Indianola later this summer, and organizers are currently looking for volunteers to help run the event. The National Balloon Classic relies on hundreds of volunteers to make the 9-day event successful and is an essential component. Volunteers help in all areas, including balloon chase crews, public information, gate hosting, ticket taking, hospitality, gift shop attendants, clean-up crew, and parking assistants.
