The Knoxville School Board met in a special session on Wednesday. 

At the meeting, the board approved a contract for Katie Plascencia to teach social studies at Knoxville High School, effective for the 2023-2024 school year. They also accepted the resignation of Kaleb Meek, the previous social studies teacher, effective at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.

The School Board will meet just one time in regular session in July, and that meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 10th.
