The Saints took the lead in the bottom of the 1st after Hayden Branson tripled, that set up a bunt single by Jenna Mickey for the game’s first score. Murray would get runs in the 3rd and 4th innings to take a 2-1 lead, but the Saints responded with a Paetyn Anderson double to score Mickey and it was tied at two going into the 8th when Murray scored the go ahead and what amounted to the winning run in the top half of the inning. The Saints outhit the Mustangs 9-5 with Mickey getting three and an RBI. Emma Clark took the loss striking out five. Melcher-Dallas finishes up 9-23.
