The final Little Hawkeye Conference baseball game for the Norwalk and Pella teams was played Friday, with the Warriors cruising by the Dutch 10-1, as heard on the KNIA3 stream.

Norwalk took advantage of a costly Dutch throwing error with a 2-0 lead and kept the pressure on throughout, scoring three or four runs in three of the innings in the game. Pella’s offense faltered, stranding four in scoring position in the first two innings.

CJ Davis was 2-for-4 with two runs batted in for Norwalk and DJ Harris went 2-for-2 with a run scored and RBI; Tanner Roley had a hit and the only RBI for the Dutch.

The Dutch finish in a tie for 3rd in the conference standings at 12-9; the Warriors were 9-12 in the league, good for 5th. Pella is at home Monday against Washington in their final regular season game before Friday’s substate bracket; The Warriors head to ADM for their final game before the playoffs on July 5th.
