A benefit held in late June to honor a Pella girl who died in a sledding accident will have a huge impact on a local non-profit organization.
Kristi and Andy Zellmer presented the Marion County Humane Society with a $25,000 check Sunday afternoon, which were proceeds from an event held at Smash Park on June 24th.
Their daughter Milly loved animals, which is why the local non-profit was chosen. A tree in her honor has been planted next to their building.
Hear from the Zellmers about the benefit and Milly’s legacy on today’s Let’s Talk Pella.
