The class 3A 7th ranked Knoxville Baseball Squad defeated Bondurant-Farrar on Monday night 2-1. Koby Higginbotham was efficient with 86 pitches and allowed just three hits. The Panthers got on the board in the 6th with an RBI by Dakota Ramsey, then the game winner was driven in by Hayden Hatch. The Panthers recently won their 30th game and Coach Turner Devore told KNIA/KRLS Sports that was one box that was checked off this season and he hopes this is just the beginning of several 30 win seasons.

Devore: “I think since the Bound era, there hasn’t been a 30 win season since that one year. When these guys leave as good as they are, who is going to step up and continue that tradition.”

Knoxville will have one more regular season game on Wednesday as Creston will come to Panther Drive. Game time is set for 7:30.
