After rain forced them to wait until Monday night to find out the Class 2A Substate 6 quarterfinal opponent, the Pella Christian baseball team’s matchup for Wednesday is set.

The Eagles, who earned a first-round bye as the two-seed, will host third-seeded Centerville in the back half of the District 12 doubleheader on Eagle Lane. The Big Reds defeated the Comets 3-1 Monday night, marking their fourth win in the series this season. This marks the third time that Pella Christian and Centerville have met in the postseason since 2017, with the Big Reds claiming the wins in the prior two meetings.
