indianola-8

The Indianola baseball team hosts the Comets of North Polk in a non-conference matchup tonight in their final regular season tune-up before postseason play begins on Friday. The Indians swept a doubleheader on Monday in Fort Dodge, and have won 13 of their last 15 games to this point after catching fire, ultimately finishing in second place in the Little Hawkeye Conference, but fell out of the class 4A rankings according to the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association. The Indians will have to figure out their deep pitching staff for postseason play, having six pitchers with over 20 innings pitched this season, that includes Kaden Ritchie who leads all of class 4A with 10 saves. The matchup begins tonight at 7:30pm.
