#10 ranked Pleasantville and PCM will clash on the baseball diamond in the Class 2A Substate 7, District 14 quarterfinals tonight.

The Trojans earned the top seed and a first-round bye in District 14, while the fourth-seeded Mustangs defeated fifth-seeded Colfax-Mingo 2-0 Saturday night to claim their spot in the quarterfinals. This is the third year in a row that Pleasantville and PCM have met in Class 2A Substate 7, with the prior two meetings being the last games between the schools. The Mustangs won last season’s first round matchup 3-0, while the Trojans took the 2021 first round contest 10-6. 

Pleasantville and PCM’s Class 2A Substate 7, District 14 game will be the back end of a doubleheader at Pleasantville High School tonight, with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m.
