The Knoxville Raceway will host a now rescheduled $7,000 fireworks show following this week’s races.

After the Mid-Season Championships were rained out this past weekend, the weekly Knoxville Championship Series will return to the track this Saturday. The fireworks that will follow the races have been paid for by Bruce Wood, a long-time race fan. Wood moved to Knoxville from the state of Washington for the races and offered to pay for the entire show to honor his late wife’s love for fireworks. 

Hot laps for Saturday’s races begin at 6:45 p.m. and the fireworks show will take place after the conclusion of the 410’s race that evening.
