The #10 ranked Pleasantville baseball team’s season came to an end Saturday night with a 5-1 loss to Williamsburg in the Class 2A Substate 7 semifinals. The loss marked the end of the Trojans’ 13-game winning streak. An excellent 2023 summer for the Pleasantville baseball squad, that culminated in a share of the West Central Conference regular season title, concludes with a 28-7 record overall. The Trojans say goodbye to three seniors from this year’s team in Parker Sheets, Peyton Major, and Jonah Schumacher.
