The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum will hit the road to attend multiple races in Ohio this week.

They will have a booth at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio and Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio today through Saturday. The Brad Doty Classic kicks off the races today in Attica. On Wednesday, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum booth will move to Eldora Speedway. The stand will be open all-day Wednesday and Thursday for the “Eldora Million” prelims and races, Friday’s “Knight Before the King’s Royal”, and Saturday’s 40th King’s Royal.

In addition to having a booth at these races, they will be holding their annual King’s Royal Auction on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Items included in the auction are autographed photos, die-cast cars, and collectibles. National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum Coordinator Bill Wright says being at these races helps raise money for the non-profit organization, but also recognizes sprint car racing at a national level.

“The fundraisers we do here are really important to keep us maintained. We’re open here year-round. We’re only closed four days out of the year, so people can come in during the winter and see things here too. It is important to get out and get the name out, but also we kind of have a responsibility being the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum that we need to get out to the main events and represent and support those events as well because, our motto here is promoting the future while preserving the past.”
