Another round of showers and thunderstorms may impact the area overnight into Wednesday. The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a slight risk for severe weather across most of central Iowa during that time. Scattered storms may produce large hail, damaging winds, and locally heavy rainfall starting late this evening and continuing through Wednesday morning.
