The Twin Cedars Softball Squad’s run came to an end on Monday in the class 1A regional as the Sabers fell to Sigourney 2-1. Jillian French dueled with all-state pitcher from Sigourney Carly Goodwin with the game scoreless through four innings. After the Savages got a run in the 5th, Rylee Dunkin belted a triple and scored on a wild pitch. Sigourney would score the go-ahead and eventual winning run in the 6th. The Sabers left runners in scoring position in the 7th. French took the loss going six innings allowing five hits. Twin Cedars finishes the season at 21-6.
