Prairie Meadows recently awarded the Knoxville Fire and Rescue Association a Community Betterment Grant totaling $18,965.
The grant will help fund improvements to training props. The funds provided a forcible entry training door for fire and law enforcement to use and a state-of-the-art fire extinguisher trainer for the community to become better prepared in the event of a fire.
The grant will improve the lives of people in central Iowa by enabling Knoxville Fire and Rescue to complete the purchase of training equipment. To be better prepared when there is an emergency in our community.
