The Indianola Chamber of Commerce held their annual Golf Classic Fundraiser on Wednesday, hosting over 130 golfers to help raise money to support chamber activities throughout the year. Chamber President and CEO Amanda Zwanziger tells KNIA News she wants participation in events held by the chamber and other members of the community to be exciting and inclusive, and the golf classic is a big part of that.
“We are making the chamber fun. It is a mission for us. It’s not just a business community, it is an organization for the community that is supported by businesses and really ultimately run by the business network. We want people to come and get engaged in what we are doing. There are so many ways to get involved, whether it is the golf classic like this, or in other aspects. We have ambassadors that greet the new businesses to town, there are so many ways to get involved.”
