The Indianola Chamber of Commerce had full participation from the community during their annual Chamber Golf Classic fundraiser on Wednesday, an event that included golfing, a silent auction fundraiser, lunch, and multiple gifts from local sponsors. Chamber President and CEO Amanda Zwanziger tells KNIA News she can’t thank the community enough for their support, and the funds raised will go towards chamber events throughout the year.

“It was just awesome in general. We had such great support as well from the businesses and organizations, and even the people, who sponsored this event. I can’t thank them all right now, but you can see them on our website. We were almost maxed out, and it’s just really cool to see this kind of support.”

Zwanziger also said she is trying to make chamber events in the future more fun, and this year’s event included a Happy Gilmore theme.
